STAFF ACKNOWLEDGMENT

I acknowledge that:
1. I have received or been given access to the Portageville School District Staff
Technology, Information Security, Data Privacy, and Acceptable Use Policy.
2. I understand that district technology resources are provided primarily for district
purposes.
3. I understand that district business records and activity on district systems may be accessed, monitored, preserved, or disclosed for legitimate district purposes and as permitted or required by law.
4. I understand my responsibility to protect student, employee, and district
information.
5. I will use only approved applications and services when district or student
information is involved.
6. I will not share passwords or multifactor authentication codes.
7. I will immediately report suspected phishing, lost devices, accidental disclosures,
unauthorized access, and other security or privacy incidents.
8. I understand that district-related records may be subject to records-retention,
legal-hold, public-records, and disclosure requirements.
9. I understand that violations may result in restriction of access, discipline,
termination of employment or service, referral to law enforcement, or other action.
10. I agree to comply with this policy and related district procedures.

Electronic acknowledgment through a district-approved system shall have the same effect as a handwritten acknowledgment.
